We utilize a mixture of curriculums to ensure our children are receiving a well-rounded, Christian-based early education. We utilize the ABEKA curriculum, along with the Josiah Curriculum, written by our Director and certified teacher, Trina Pattullo.
Each week we have a set of themes that focus on colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. We also have Bible Lessons and talk about important community helpers. We sing songs, play games, and learn poems and finger plays to go along with each set of theme and story.

Our lesson plans adhere to the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS), which are a continuum of skills, behaviors, and concepts that children develop as they grow. They are divided into age groups and we use them as a framework to guide our children’s learning experiences.
At JCS, we know that academics are important, but we truly believe children learn through play. We have fun and stimulating learning activities planned for all of our classes throughout the year. We even take our Pre-K and Kindergarten classes on field trips!
We offer a program for elementary aged children during summer break and after school called Camp Josiah.

We now offer in house dance classes by A Time to Dance Performing Arts Studio‘s Patricia Nealey. For more information, check out their website.
